No wizard hat though!
The song mentions a "Donegal Beard" (which no Irish person I've spoken to has ever heard!
It seems likeit might be a weird Texas tradition - St Arnold's Brewery, Houston have an annual competition to grow a Donegal & the town of Shamrock(!) Texas does the same; see - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoNbVped6wQ
